Addiction continues to rise across New Jersey and our nation, and its impact is heartbreaking. Nearly all of us know someone—a family member, friend, neighbor, or coworker—whose life has been touched by addiction. Too often, those who need help never receive it simply because they don’t know where to turn.
For more than 128 years, America’s Keswick, located right here in Whiting, New Jersey, has been offering hope and restoration through Christ-centered addiction recovery. Through our residential programs for men and women—The Colony of Mercy and Barbara’s Place—lives are being changed, families are being restored, and futures are being rebuilt. Yet many still refer to us as “the best-kept secret” in our community.
Our Addiction Recovery Ministries do not receive state or federal funding. Instead, they are made possible through the generosity of individuals, churches, and local businesses like yours. Residents pay only a one-time application fee, and faithful partners help cover the remaining cost of their care, counseling, housing, and discipleship.
One of the primary ways this support is raised is through our Family Freedom Walk, a community fundraiser benefiting our Addiction Recovery Ministries. On Saturday, May 9, 2026, we will host our 18th Annual Family Freedom Walk to raise $325,000 in support of men, women, and families seeking freedom from life-dominating addictions. This event has a wide-reaching ripple effect, impacting not only those in recovery but also their loved ones and the broader community.
We would be honored to invite your business to partner with us as a Family Freedom Walk Business Sponsor. As a sponsor, your business will be recognized during the live event and highlighted on our Facebook and Instagram pages. Most importantly, your support will help make life-transforming recovery possible for those who need it most. You can partner with us by mailing a check in the enclosed envelope, calling 800-453-7942, or scanning the QR code below.
This year, we are once again inviting our business sponsors to join us on event day by hosting a vendor table. If you are interested, please get in touch with Karen Rigby at [email protected] or ext. 1034 by Wednesday, May 6.
Together, we truly are making a difference—and we need YOU to help continue this life-restoring work.
Thank you for your time, your generosity, and your care for our community.
