Karen Rigby's Fundraiser

As I write this, I’m looking out my window. The sun is shining, everything is green, the flowers are in bloom, and the sky is blue. But we know the season is changing, cooler weather is coming, and with that, the leaves will be turning into beautiful autumn colors. Change is something we can’t escape. Sometimes, we like it, while other times, we would rather skip over it, but we don’t have a choice.

I want to talk to you today about the change that happens here at America’s Keswick when a man or woman comes into the Colony of Mercy or Barbara’s Place. Real heart change happens when a heart is fully surrendered. Change is only possible because of Jesus. But we do know that God uses America’s Keswick and His people to come alongside those men and women and help them on their journey to find freedom from addiction and life-dominating sin. This is only possible because of people like you who give to the ministry. 

On November 22nd, we will hold our 5th Annual Thanks-for-Giving Turkey Trot, a 5K race and fundraiser for Addiction Recovery at America’s Keswick.  This year's goal is $75,000, and my personal fundraising goal is $5,000. Will I run or won’t I? We’ll see. We would love your support for this very worthy cause.  As you may or may not know, it only costs a man or woman $500 for an application fee to enter the four-month residential program—that’s it. The average cost for a resident is $9,000. That kind of math doesn’t make sense, but God.
