Change. One day, we’re enjoying the warmth and beauty of summer, and before we know it, the leaves are changing, the air is crisp, and Thanksgiving is just around the corner. Change is part of life.

Change happens here at America’s Keswick when a man or woman comes into our Addiction Recovery Ministries. Real heart change happens when a heart is fully surrendered to Jesus. God uses America’s Keswick, along with His people, to come alongside these men and women as they journey from addiction and life-dominating sin toward freedom. People like you help make that change possible.

God changed my life over 30 years ago, and He used addiction. God brought both me and my loved one to Jesus through his addiction, and then when he came to America’s Keswick for help, I got help too. It set me on a path of healing and growing in my walk with the Lord and gave me support. Now, 33 years later, I am serving here and raising awareness and funds for this vital ministry.

On November 21st, we will hold our 6th Annual Thanks-for-Giving Turkey Trot, a 5K race and fundraiser supporting the Addiction Recovery Ministries at America’s Keswick. The event will take place on the beautiful campus of America’s Keswick in Whiting, NJ. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m., and the race starts at 9:00 a.m. Our goal this year is to raise $75,000, and my personal fundraising goal is $10,000 to help provide hope, healing, and freedom to the men and women whose lives are being transformed through our Addiction Recovery Ministries. Whether you run, walk, cheer from the sidelines, or simply give a gift, you can help make a difference.

The Turkey Trot registration is $35 for runners and $25 for non-runners, and both include a continental breakfast and commemorative T-shirt. Even better, if you raise $150 or more, your registration fee is waived! There will also be prizes for top fundraisers, race winners, and the best costume—so don’t be afraid to bring out your inner turkey! But beyond the race, the breakfast, the T-shirts, and the fun, there is a much greater purpose. Lives are being changed.
