Robert Kenney's Fundraiser

On Saturday, November 21, 2026, America’s Keswick will hold our 6th Annual Thanks-for-Giving 5K Turkey Trot to support the Addiction Recovery Ministries of America’s Keswick. This year, the ministry has set a goal of raising $75,000, and I have personally set a goal of raising $25,000 toward that total.

As you may know, this ministry is much more than a job to me. It is deeply personal.

More than eleven years ago, after nearly a decade of heroin addiction, I came through the Colony of Mercy at America’s Keswick. God used my time there to bring me face-to-face with what I needed most. I certainly needed freedom from addiction, but more than anything, I needed Jesus Christ.

By the grace of God, my life today looks very different. I have a wife and children I love, and I now have the privilege of serving full-time at the very ministry God used so powerfully in my own life. I never want to lose sight of what a gift that is.

That is one of the reasons the Turkey Trot means so much to me.

Every year, I have the opportunity to ask friends, family, ministry partners, and people God has placed in my life to come alongside me in helping provide the same opportunity for others. Men and women continue to walk through the doors of America’s Keswick battling addiction, broken relationships, and circumstances that can seem hopeless. Our desire is to point each one of them to the hope and freedom that can only be found in Jesus Christ.

This year, I would love for you to be part of helping me reach my $25,000 goal.

Hebrews 12:1–2 tells us to “run with endurance the race that lies before us, keeping our eyes on Jesus.” I can’t think of a more fitting passage for this event. The Turkey Trot may involve an actual race, but what we are really celebrating is something far greater: lives being changed as men and women learn to fix their eyes on Christ.
